Summary
Have fun helping young people with learning difficulties to have fun! Build youth work and community skills supporting others at Grangers Club.Detailed description
We are a social club for young people with learning disabilities (16years+) - a place to meet up with their peers and have fun. We meet Tuesday during term time from 6.30pm -8.00pm
Activities include pool/snooker, table tennis, ball games, arts and crafts, dominoes and other table activities and we're looking for volunteers who would like to help our members come along and have fun together!
Volunteering at our club could be one of the most rewarding things you do this year. We and our members will teach you everything you need to learn and know if you don't already have experience, you'll be part of a supportive team that wants the best for every young person that uses our service.
It's also a great role for anyone interested in going into youth work, health and social care, occupational health or Special Educational Needs to grow your experience and gain references. Please note you will be required to make your own way to the venue at your own cost you will be required to do a enhanced dbs but we will cover the cost of this
Apply now or send us a message if you'd like to chat!

About The Grangers Club
We meet weekly during term time at the Hagard in Willenhall, Coventry CV3 3DG on Tuesday evenings from 6.15pm to 8.15pm for an evening of fun and friendship.
The club offers various activities each Tuesday night such as table games, cards (Uno is very popular at the moment!), dominoes, Connect Four, crayoning, arts and crafts, jigsaws, pool/snooker, and ball games, also music to dance to or just listen. We have visiting professionals to run activities such as keep fit to music, arts and crafts, drumming and sing-alongs. Trips out do occur on occasions. Members ask for activities and volunteers try to help them with that activity such as making a card.
People join in the activities when and how they choose.
We need volunteers to help us, help people to try new things or help with the activity by just joining in. Volunteers do not give any personal care.
We have a small tuck shop also open.
The club is run entirely by volunteers and is well established.
