Team Springboard Community Interest Company is looking for a volunteer director to help steer the organisation at strategic level.
Team Springboard Community Interest Company is looking for a volunteer director.
We are looking for someone with an interest in bringing people together to tackle social isolation. Interest in gardening is an advantage.
The role includes overseeing Team Springboard CIC at strategic level. Experience working in or running a small organisation is also an advantage.
The person will join the two existing directors in attending three to four meetings per year. The meetings are usually online with the occasional one in Team Springboard’s community garden at the Lake View Allotments in Allesley Old Road, Coventry.

Teamspringboard Community Interest Company runs the ZEN Community Garden, and helps Crow Recycling with their Garden, and to set up other Community Gardens, growing organically and Permaculturally. Volunteers can learn about Gardening, Wildlife, Nature, individual volunteers often get to take fruit and vegetables in season, and help to grow to feed local people as most of the food we grow gets donated to Foodbanks, Soup Kitchens and other good causes. We also like to sit down after (in between) work for a cuppa, and a biccie and have a chat too.
The Community Garden is situated beside a Nature Reserve area, so lovely and green, and lots of birdsong - fantastic being outdoors and getting away from everyday life if needed, helping to make you happier and healthier!
