Do you have experience in Human Resources and want to use your skills to support a well-established, values-driven safeguarding children charity? Dudley Lodge is looking for a new Trustee with HR expertise to join our committed Board.

About Us:

Dudley Lodge is a UK-registered safeguarding children charity with over 125 years of experience supporting vulnerable families. We specialise in residential family assessments and interventions that help to keep children safe and families together where possible.

The Role:

As a Trustee, you'll play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of Dudley Lodge. We are particularly seeking someone with a background in Human Resources, including areas such as:

• Employment law and policy
• Recruitment, retention and talent development
• Staff wellbeing and performance
• Diversity, equity, and inclusion

Your insights will help ensure we maintain a supportive and effective working environment for our staff and continue to deliver high-quality services to the families we support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Significant HR experience (CIPD qualified or equivalent preferred)
• A commitment to our mission, values, and the principles of safeguarding
• The ability to think strategically and contribute to high-level decision-making
• Willingness to attend quarterly Board meetings (usually held in Coventry) and occasional sub-committee sessions
