Receptionist Volunteer Opportunity –
At Radio Plus, we believe people matter more than paperwork. That’s why we’re not asking for a polished CV – we’d much rather have a conversation with you. If you’re friendly, welcoming, and enjoy connecting with people, we’d love to chat about how you could be part of our team.
We’re looking for volunteers to be the first point of contact at our Coventry office, making sure visitors and callers feel comfortable and supported. You’ll be joining a lively, multi-use building where no two days are the same.
👉 What you’ll be doing:
- Greeting visitors with a smile and helping them feel at home
- Answering and directing phone calls, or taking messages when needed
- Supporting the team with simple admin tasks like filing or photocopying
- Keeping the reception area tidy and welcoming
- Sharing information about Radio Plus and our community activities
👉 What we’re looking for:
- A warm, positive attitude that makes people feel at ease
- Clear communication skills – listening and sharing information confidently
- Organisational skills to keep things running smoothly
- Reliability and punctuality for agreed shifts
- Respect for safeguarding and confidentiality
- Basic IT skills (email, word processing)
