Expectations:
Hours: Flexible to be agreed.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
· Weeding and planting
· Pruning and maintenance:
· Watering and plant care
· Lawn care
· Pathways and grounds care
· General grounds work
Other Potential Duties:
· Equipment Handling: Safely use gardening equipment like lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other tools.
· Landscaping: Participate in installing new landscaping features.
· Health and Safety: Be aware of health and safety issues and take care when using equipment as per training.
Skills & Qualities
Skills:
· Gardening Knowledge and Experience (desirable)
· Able to complete light gardening tasks
· Able to handle gardening tools, with care and precision.
· Able to work effectively with others and be a positive team member
· Able to communicate effectively with other volunteers, staff, and the public.
· Able to understand and follow basic Health & Safety policies, procedures, and instructions
Qualities:
· A genuine interest in gardening and a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
· Able to adjust to different tasks and weather conditions.
· Friendly, approachable, and willing to help others.
· Open to learn new skills and techniques.
· Willing to travel to different areas within Coventry.

Valley House provides specialised support for individuals with complex needs, including mental health, alcohol, and drug-related issues. Our dedicated team offers tailored assistance and interventions to help individuals manage these
challenges.
Reach
REACH Peer Support Service provides support for people aged 18 years and over who have common or severe mental illness. The service provides 1-2-1 support to people signposted from the Partnership Trust who may benefit from support in the Community from the VCFSE (Voluntary Community Faith and Social Enterprises).
Nursery
Our nursery welcomes children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, with a team of passionate and qualified staff dedicated to providing engaging learning experiences and a fun-filled environment.
