Help support our shop at Valley House. Tasks include till operation, stock control, window displays & customer service, as part of a supportive team.

Detailed description

This volunteer role at Valley House's charity shop involves assisting with all aspects of the shop's daily operations. This includes opening/closing, stock management, taking payments, creating window displays.


The role requires approximately 6- 8 hours per week (to be agreed). Valley House provides training, support, skill development and reimburses reasonable travel expenses.


Volunteers need good communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and a flexible attitude.

Volunteers will also contribute to the shop's development

Volunteers will uphold Valley House's policies and values, and act as ambassadors for the organisation.

REACH Peer Support Service provides support for people aged 18 years and over who have common or severe mental illness. The service provides 1-2-1 support to people signposted from the Partnership Trust who may benefit from support in the Community from the VCFSE (Voluntary Community Faith and Social Enterprises).

Our nursery welcomes children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, with a team of passionate and qualified staff dedicated to providing engaging learning experiences and a fun-filled environment.
