Would you like to make a difference
to the lives of young people who get into trouble, their families and the community?
The Coventry Youth Justice Service is looking for volunteers to help young people to make positive changes to their lives and prevent further offending behaviour.
The role involves supporting children and young people who have come into the Youth Justice Service, helping them to reflect on that went wrong, the strengths they have that they can build on, and how the harm to victims can be repaired.
Upon application, a pack will be sent out which gives more detail about the role, and what getting involved in this exciting and worthwhile role looks and feels like.
All volunteering is in person; panels usually take place in the city centre, but at times they are held at local family hubs and so an ability to travel across the city is advantageous but not required.
If you are over 18 years old and would like to make a difference, then this could be for you.
No previous experience is needed; all we ask is for some of your time each week, a little patience and a lot of encouragement.
Full training and support will be given.
