Looking for a meaningful way to spend your time this festive season? Whether you’d like to give something back, meet new people, feel more connected, or simply do something that gets you into the festive spirit, our Introduction to Volunteering workshop can help you get started.
During this friendly and informal session, you’ll discover:
- How volunteering can help you connect with others, support your wellbeing and make a difference in your community
- The variety of volunteering opportunities available across Coventry, including opportunities during the run-up to Christmas and the festive period
- How to find volunteering roles that suit your interests and availability
- How our supported volunteering projects can help if you would like some extra support getting started
- What to expect when applying for a volunteer role and how to take your first steps into volunteering
This one-off workshop is ideal for anyone who would like to volunteer during the festive season, whether you’re hoping to help your local community, meet people, keep busy, try something new or make Christmas feel a little more meaningful.
The workshop includes information sharing, small group discussions and opportunities to ask questions. Places are limited so that everyone can receive personalised recommendations and support to find volunteering opportunities that are right for them.
