Summary

Join us to find out more about volunteering in Coventry and meet community organisations looking for volunteers.

Detailed description

Are you interested in volunteering but don't really know where to begin? Why not come along to our Introduction to Volunteering mini fair where you will be introduced to a wide variety of organisations who are looking to recruit volunteers across the city.

Roles include working in retail and reception, garden and grounds work, cooking, kitchen support, refreshments, supporting at food banks, helping to set up for events, ushering, bar assistant, drivers and many, many more!

There will be time for a drink and a chat and you'll also have the opportunity to explore 'Get Involved Coventry' with staff from Voluntary Action Coventry and learn more about the Improving Lives volunteering course.

Getting there

United Reformed Church Hall is situated on Warwick Road next to Mosaic Church. Walk through the metal gates and you will see the entrance on the left.

About Chat Central project

We engage adults of all ages and physical abilities from all areas of Coventry. Whether new to the city, a student from overseas, a migrant, bereaved, retired, a new parent, just out of hospital, dealing with an illness or condition that limits their ability to get out, or just out of practice with socialising and getting more active and ‘out there.’
