Would you like to make a difference through volunteering? We are looking for volunteers with a particular skill or hobby to plan and deliver a one hour session (with time for a cuppa and catch up before and after!) to Chat Central participants on one Wednesday of each month in a central location (venue TBC).
If you would like to find out more, join our Chat Central Volunteer Information Session. It will give us a chance to meet you and find out more about you, and you will be able to ask us any questions you may have about the opportunity. We also welcome current Chat Central volunteers to the session to find out new information.
More information about the role:
Previous volunteers have led sessions including history talks, arts and crafts, song writing, yoga, board game sessions and more. Chat Central staff will be present all all sessions to support.
As a volunteer, you will be able to take part in all other Chat Central activities and have the chance to socialise with other volunteers. Volunteering for Chat Central is a great way to increase work experience, build confidence and keep busy doing something that makes you feel good! Travel expenses for the session will also be reimbursed.
