Items from the Coventry Collection will be be on display and you'll have the chance to speak to Scott Duffin about how you can volunteer and get involved.
Chat Central is a great place to try new things, make new friends and get involved in your community.
All activities are FREE and open to adults (18+) living in
Coventry.
Local historian and author of Elephants of Coventry, Scott Duffin, is bringing the Coventry Collection right into the heart of Coventry Market.
Scott is passionate about preserving the city’s heritage and will be showcasing a fantastic mix of artefacts including artwork, old bottles, coins, maps, photos and the famous Blitz piano. It is a great chance to hear his stories and share in his love for all things Cov.
Scott is also looking for volunteers to help keep the Coventry Collection open during the week. If you have a few hours to spare and would like to support him while sharing Coventry’s rich history with visitors, he would love to have you on board!

About Chat Central project
We engage adults of all ages and physical abilities from all areas of Coventry. Whether new to the city, a student from overseas, a migrant, bereaved, retired, a new parent, just out of hospital, dealing with an illness or condition that limits their ability to get out, or just out of practice with socialising and getting more active and ‘out there.’
