Summary

Join us in Broadgate for a free evening of live performances and moving tributes, before the lighting of the beacon to honour the end of the Second World War.

Detailed description

Coventry City Council are hosting a street party in Broadgate to celebrate VE Day. The event will include live performances, including

bhangra dancing and music from the 1940's. The event will finish with a lantern parade to honour the 80th anniversay of the end of the Second World War in Europe. Chat Central will be at the event until 9.00pm, however participants are welcome to stay longer if they wish. The event is due to finish at 9.40pm.


Chat Central is a great place to try new things, make new friends and get involved in your community.


All activities are FREE and open to adults (18+) living in Coventry.

No need to book - just turn up.
