Are you interested in volunteering but don't know where to start? Join one of Chat Central's volunteer taster sessions at Carriers of Hope Food Hub.

Chat Central is a great place to try new things, make new friends and get involved in your community.

All activities are FREE and open to adults (18+) living in Coventry.

🌟 Interested in volunteering but don't know where to start?

Join Chat Central for a volunteer taster session at Carriers of Hope Food Hub and discover how you can make a real difference.

🤝 Carriers of Hope, together with St Mark's Church and Youth With A Mission, run the World Foods Food Hub -  a warm and welcoming space where refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Coventry can access food, practical support, advice and a friendly face.

✨ During this 2-hour taster session, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Food Hub operates, meet the team and experience what it's like to volunteer in a supportive and encouraging environment.

💚 Whether you're completely new to volunteering or simply looking for a new opportunity, this is a chance to build confidence, meet like-minded people and be part of something that has a positive impact on the lives of others.

🙌 Friendly staff and volunteers will be on hand throughout the session to answer questions and support you every step of the way.

📝 If you enjoy the experience, there will be an opportunity to sign up for future volunteering on the day.

About Chat Central project

We engage adults of all ages and physical abilities from all areas of Coventry. Whether new to the city, a student from overseas, a migrant, bereaved, retired, a new parent, just out of hospital, dealing with an illness or condition that limits their ability to get out, or just out of practice with socialising and getting more active and ‘out there.’
