Summary

As a leader in IT, your knowledge and experience will support the Digital Leadership and Governance Group in finding Solutions to help Myton be Sustainable

Detailed description

Digital solutions are increasingly key to Myton's sustainability, helping us reach more patients and reducing inefficiencies.

As a leader in IT, your knowledge and experience will support the Digital Leadership and Governance Group to develop the digital strategy and governance, bringing your thought leadership and practical experience to help Myton drive best value from our digital investment. By also considering risks and opportunities relating to data, cyber-security and the increasing operational reliance on digital solutions you will complement and broaden the knowledge and skill set of the existing group.

The DL&G Group includes members of our Digital, People Services and Marketing & Comms Teams, supported by a trustee with a background in IT and Digital Change. As a senior generalist IT leader, you will support the Group to ensure digital strategy, infrastructure and solutions are a key part of the safe and cost-effective running of the charity.

Myton operates hospice sites open 24/7 in Coventry and Warwick, a community hub in Rugby, a hospice-at-home team and 26 Charity shops across the region. Our digital landscape therefore supports multiple varied teams and purposes, from fundraising through to expert clinical services, and a workforce of over 1100 volunteers and 300 employees, making it a fascinating place to volunteer your expertise.

About The Myton Hospices

At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are not just about end of life care, we support patients and their loved ones right from the moment they are diagnosed.

We have three hospices in Coventry, Rugby and Warwick, and have the only Hospice Inpatient beds in Coventry and Warwickshire. We care for people aged 18+ living with a wide range of life-limiting illnesses including Respiratory, Heart & Neurological conditions, Cancer and Organ failure.

We are a charity, we are not the NHS, and we have to raise £11 million of the £14.3 million it costs this year to continue providing our services free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Just 20% of our funding comes from the NHS. We rely on donations and support from our local communities.
