Volunteer Role: Stock Management and Inventory Volunteer

Commitment: 2–3 days (flexible hours)

Location: Jubilee Crescent Community Centre

Purpose: Support RE(YOU)S by organising, cataloguing, and photographing stock to ensure efficient inventory management.


Role Description

As a Stock Management and Inventory Volunteer, you will be vital in organising and maintaining our stock, ensuring items are ready for upcoming events and online platforms. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a smoother exchange process and supporting the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort, organise, and manage stock for accurate inventory.
  • Create an inventory list with item descriptions, categories, and quantities.
  • Photograph items for cataloguing and online use.
  • Ensure items meet quality standards and are properly stored.
  • Work collaboratively with other volunteers or staff to meet deadlines.


Skills and Qualities We’re Looking For

  • Organised and detail-oriented: Accuracy in cataloguing and inventory.
  • Photography skills: Basic ability to take clear, visually appealing photos of items.
  • Proactive and self-motivated: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team player: Comfortable working collaboratively with others.
  • Tech-savvy: Familiarity with spreadsheets, inventory apps, or photography tools (optional but helpful).
