Support volunteers across RE(YOU)S projects, helping people feel welcomed, informed, connected, and supported.
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help support and guide volunteers across RE(YOU)S activities and projects.
This role is people-focused and plays an important part in helping volunteers feel welcomed, informed, supported, and connected to the wider purpose of RE(YOU)S.
The Volunteer Coordinator will help people understand the organisation, explore suitable opportunities, support onboarding, and help maintain positive communication and coordination across volunteer activities.
As RE(YOU)S continues to grow, this role will help create consistency, clarity, and supportive pathways for volunteers from different backgrounds, experiences, and confidence levels.
What You Might Support With
- Welcoming and supporting new volunteers
- Helping volunteers understand RE(YOU)S and its projects
- Supporting volunteer onboarding and introductions
- Helping match people to suitable volunteer opportunities
- Checking in with volunteers and helping maintain communication
- Supporting volunteer discovery calls and meetings
- Helping identify where volunteers may need additional support or guidance
- Helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Working alongside the wider RE(YOU)S team to support volunteer activities
- Supporting organisation and coordination of volunteer information where needed
Skills, Qualities & Experience
You do not need formal qualifications for this role.
We would especially welcome someone who is:

- Comfortable communicating with different people
- A good listener
- Supportive and people-focused
- Interested in community, participation, and inclusion
- Comfortable using email and basic digital tools
- Able to work with sensitivity, boundaries, and respect for others
Experience in volunteering, community work, mentoring, coordination, wellbeing support, administration, or people-facing roles may be helpful, but is not essential.
