Detailed description
Kitty prides herself on being a working-class Director who is passionate about the engagement of young people and communities in performance. She recently directed a large community cast in Fantastic Foxes for Curve Theatre (Leicester).
Join this workshop to hear about how Kitty developed a career; starting with the impact that local youth theatre had on her when she was a teenager, then directing her own youth theatre and now working in regional theatres, both as a director and creative consultant.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in a career as a director. Learn about where to start with a group when directing, the first steps of tackling a script and how to work with other arts professionals in a venue to make a successful show.
