Take a stack of posters & an allocated patch of the city, and spend a few hours walking around talking to business owners about the importance of befriending.
Good Neighbours Coventry run information sessions about our befriending service across the city every week. We try to put up posters in local places - shops, hairdressers, takeaways, libraries, community centres etc - to advertise upcoming sessions. You can take a stack of posters & an allocated patch of the city, and spend a few hours walking around talking to business owners about the importance of befriending older people / asking if they can publicise this with their customers.
