Conservation work in Lake View Park.
The role will be in a team with other conservation volunteers. In the summer we work on controlling the invasive plant species Himalayan Balsam. In the winter concentrate on woodland management. We meet the second Saturday of each month.
Wear suitable outdoor clothing. If possible bring thin gardening gloves or marigold cleaning gloves. If you'd like to bring lunch and drink do so.
This will develop conservation awareness, team work, and is great for mental health.
