If you only have a short amount of time to offer, why not consider volunteering as a pot wash to support the kitchen team to put on free community meals!
The pot wash role will involve supporting the cooking team by making sure the kitchen is clean and tidy during service. You will be scrubbing pots and pans, cleaning plates and helping to ensure the tidy up is as efficient as possible.
This role is a lot shorter than a cooking shift (12-3pm) so could be appealing to those that can only donate a short period of time.
Our project runs every Wednesday at St Peter's Hillfields Church but you don't need to be there every week, just the days that suit you!
