FoodCycle cooking volunteers help to turn surplus food into a tasty 3-course vegetarian meal. No previous cooking experience is needed, just a can do attitude!

As a team of cooking volunteers, you will help to turn the surplus food we receive each week into a free 3-course vegetarian meal for our guests!

No culinary experience is necessary as you will be guided during the session by the Cooking Project Leader, but basic cooking skills certainly help! Dishes we make often include soups, salads, curries, pasta bakes, stews, cakes, and crumbles - yum!

The cooking volunteering role starts at 10am and will be finished by 3:15pm.

To sign up to volunteer, please register as a volunteer on the FoodCycle website and sign up to the role and session you are interested in.
