Support the promotion of CRMC Social Enterprise Spring Action Cleaning by distributing marketing leaflets within the local community.
About Spring Action Cleaning
Spring Action Cleaning is the social enterprise of Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC). We provide high-quality domestic and commercial cleaning services while creating employment opportunities for refugees, migrants and individuals facing barriers to employment.
We are looking for a creative and motivated volunteer who would like to gain practical marketing experience while helping to grow a business with a social purpose.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their CV and gain hands-on experience in marketing, social media management and brand promotion. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of our online presence, contribute your own ideas and play a key role in shaping our marketing strategy.
The role is primarily remote, offering flexibility around your studies, work or other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create and publish 2 Facebook posts and 2 Instagram posts every week (4 posts in total).
- Schedule all posts at the most effective days and times based on audience engagement, online traffic and platform analytics.
- Develop and deliver creative marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness, growing our audience and generating enquiries for our cleaning services.
- Monitor the performance of social media content and recommend improvements based on engagement, reach and audience response.
- Take ownership of the direction of our social media marketing, testing different ideas and identifying what works best.
- Maintain and develop our Facebook and Instagram pages, ensuring they remain active, engaging and professional.
- Explore opportunities to expand our marketing through additional social media platforms and other promotional channels where appropriate.
- Attend a one-hour monthly supervision meeting with the Service Supervisor to review progress, discuss campaign performance, evaluate what is working and what could be improved, plan future marketing activities and receive support and guidance.
- Volunteers who consistently demonstrate reliability, professionalism, good judgement and initiative may, over time, be given the opportunity to manage and update our Wix website, providing valuable experience in website content management and digital marketing.
- We actively encourage creativity and welcome new ideas. We are always open to testing different marketing approaches and value volunteers who are willing to think outside the box.
Community Promotion
As part of this volunteer role, you will also support our local marketing by distributing Spring Action Cleaning leaflets in safe, suitable residential areas identified by the Service Supervisor.
