Health Champions engage with Refugee and Asylum Seeker communities to raise awareness, present key health messages and support health and well-being access.
CRMC are supporting our partners who are looking for volunteers to support with health projects that aim to enable and empower Refugees and Asylum Seekers to access health services by tackling health inequalities and removing barriers to health access.
We are looking for dedicated Health Champions from diverse backgrounds to volunteer and support Refugees & Asylum Seekers in Coventry.
As a Health Champion, you will:
- Help communities navigate NHS services
- Support timely access to healthcare
- Reduce non-attendance at medical appointments
- Raise awareness of health and well-being
- Play a key role in tackling health inequalities
