Coventry Boys & Girls Club is seeking friendly Volunteer Arts & Crafts Youth Workers to support and inspire young people through creative activities.
Volunteer Arts & Crafts Youth Worker – Coventry Boys & Girls Club
Coventry Boys & Girls Club is looking for enthusiastic Volunteer Arts & Crafts Youth Workers to support planning and delivery of arts & crafts on youth sessions on any of the following days:
- Monday: 16:00 – 20:00
- Wednesday: 16:30 – 20:00
- Thursday: 16:30 – 20:00
- Friday: 16:30 – 20:00
We are seeking friendly, welcoming individuals with a background or interest in arts, crafts, creativity, or youth work, who would like to give back by helping young people explore their creativity and develop new skills.
Our youth sessions offer young people the chance to take part in a range of activities, and we would love to expand our creative programme with engaging arts and crafts opportunities such as:
- Painting and drawing workshops
- Jewellery making and design
- Seasonal and themed crafts
- Upcycling and recycled art projects
- Creative wellbeing activities
- Group art and mural projects
As a volunteer, you will help create a positive and supportive environment where young people can build confidence, express themselves creatively, and enjoy meaningful activities with others.
About Us
Coventry Boys & Girls Club is an impactful charity based in the heart of Coventry. We work with children and young people from across the city, many of whom face multiple levels of disadvantage.
Led by a passionate Board of Trustees, our mission is to create opportunities that inspire and support young people, helping them to thrive now and in the future.
We provide a wide range of services, from Open Access Sessions where young people can make friends and enjoy activities such as sports, music, poetry, and cooking, to targeted programmes like The MAC Project, which offers mentoring for 10–19-year-olds around crime prevention, diversion, and community reparation.
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly and approachable people who enjoy working with young people
- An interest or experience in arts, crafts, creativity, or youth engagement
- Positive role models who can encourage participation and confidence
- Reliability and enthusiasm
What We Offer
- A rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in young people’s lives
- Full training and ongoing support
- Experience within a respected community charity
Important Information
As we are a children’s charity and support other vulnerable people, an enhanced DBS check is essential. Coventry Boys & Girls Club will arrange the application and cover the full cost.
If you’re passionate about creativity and want to inspire the next generation, we’d love to hear from you.
