Coventry Boys & Girls Club are looking for reception cover for our building Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm.

Coventry Boys & Girls Club, is a small but impactful charity based in the heart of Coventry city centre. We work with children and young people from across the city, many of whom face multiple levels of disadvantage.

Governed by a passionate board of trustees, our mission is to create opportunities that inspire and support young people, helping them to thrive both now and in the future.

We offer a range of services, from Open Access Sessions — where young people can make friends and take part in activities like sports, music, poetry, and cooking — to targeted programmes like The MAC Project, which provides mentoring for 10–19-year-olds on topics crime prevention, diversion, and community reparation.

Despite our size, we’re proud to deliver a significant impact. But we want to do more — for more children who need us most.

To support our ambitions, we are looking to free up staff from our reception area so they can support with activities such as bid writing, and mentoring.

This is a low physical activity role, and we will provide any training that is needed. We're just looking for friendly, welcoming people to great our visitors and ensure they have signed-in and are aware of emergency procedures.

As we are a children's charity, and provide space for other vulnerable people, a DBS is essential. However, Coventry Boys & Girls Club will make the application for the DBS and cover the full cost of this.
