About Arising Youth CIC
Arising Youth CIC is a community organisation committed to empowering young people and strengthening communities through employability, mentoring, wellbeing, and community engagement programmes. We work with young people, families, and local partners to create opportunities that improve confidence, skills, and long-term outcomes.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate Volunteer Grant Writer to help us secure funding that will expand our impact.
The Role
As our Volunteer Grant Writer, you will play a vital role in helping us access funding to deliver life-changing programmes for young people and communities.
You will:
- Research grant and funding opportunities.
- Identify suitable trusts, foundations, corporate funders and public funding opportunities.
- Prepare and write compelling funding applications.
- Work with the Director to gather project information, budgets and impact data.
- Help maintain a funding calendar and application tracker.
- Support the development of case studies and evidence for future bids.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has strong writing and communication skills.
- Enjoys research and attention to detail.
- Can work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
- Has experience in grant writing, fundraising, charity work, communications, or bid writing (desirable but not essential).
- Is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive social impact.
