Role Title: Marketing & Communications Volunteer
Organisation: Arising Youth CIC
Location: Hybrid /with some in-person sessions Coventry)
Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per week (flexible)
About Us
Arising Youth CIC is a youth-focused organisation supporting young people (aged 16–25) to build confidence, develop employability skills, and access opportunities through programmes, mentoring, and partnerships with organisations.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing & Communications Volunteer to help us promote our programmes, engage young people, and showcase the impact of our work.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing, social media, and communications within a purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Design simple promotional materials (flyers, posts) using tools like Canva
- Support promotion of upcoming programmes and events
- Capture photos/videos during sessions (where possible)
- Share success stories, testimonials, and programme highlights
- Send reminders and updates to programme participants (e.g. via WhatsApp or email)
- Help maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in marketing, communications, or social media
- Good written communication skills
- Creative mindset and ability to generate ideas
- Reliable and organised
- Passion for supporting young people and community impact
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (experience with Canva is a bonus)
