Detailed description

Our free and confidential gambling service supports people aged 18 years and over affected by gambling , either their own gambling or the gambling of a family member or friend;  Support can be delivered through 1:1 sessions and uses Evidence Based interventions and structured support  Sessions usually take place on a weekly/bi-weekly basis for up to 26 weeks, dependent upon your individual needs;  Support is tailored to individual needs, interests and goals, this can include; 


The psychology of gambling;  Tips and strategies to control, reduce and stop your gambling;  Information on how to block gambling software;  How to engage the support of family and friends as you stop gambling;  Alternatives to gambling;  Coping with cravings and urges to gamble;  Signposting to debt management;  Coping skills to help deal with a family member or friend’s gambling.  We also offer group sessions, such as a women's group and a concerned others group.
