Our Lottery Funding allows this group to be free to attend and includes a nice cuppa and a biscuit. There are no teachers, but those with knowledge and experience happily share. If you are feeling low, isolated, recovering from illness, bereaved, retired,or simply unable to work due to disability, this is a safe and welcoming space where there is someone just like you. The group could really help you get your enthusiam back for stitching or it can be a new hobby. D|oing a bit of knitting, crochet or some sewing is considered a mindful activity and is good for us. The Aldermoor Stitchers also have a side projecct where we make things for charity. Giving something back is so rewarding. You can learn more about our group by coming along for a day visit.
